Description
Presentation key with flat base. Circular handle includes a relief of the City of Berwick coat of arms and the text "CITY OF BERWICK/ 1973".
On October 1, 1973, following significant population growth and urbanisation, the area surrounding Berwick and Narre Warren was proclaimed as the City of Berwick, splitting it from the then Shire of Berwick. The other region of the former Shire of Berwick became the Shire of Pakenham. On 15 December 1994, the City of Berwick was abolished, and, along with sections of the City of Cranbourne, was merged into the newly created City of Casey.
