Description
Hand painted, Australian made blue and white delftware presentation plate depicting the City of Berwick coat of arms and classic Delft floral border. The plate is exceptional with precisely painted designs from Gerald Albers of Hallam Pottery. An Advance Australia Foundation sticker is found on the reverse, identifying the plate as uniquely Australian made and also helps to date the object. The text around the coat of arms reading "City of Berwick in the State of Victoria and Commonwealth of Australia".
