Description
American walnut gavel and board with brass plates and inscriptions. The gavel has a finely turned handle and head which is brass bound and inscribed "DECEMBER1986". The gavel neatly rests into the board with notched grooves for the head and base. The base board is raised and the front angled to hold the brass plate. The plate reads "PRESENTED TO THE CITIZENS OF/ BERWICK, AUSTRALIA/ FROM YOUR SISTER CITY SPRINGFIELD, OHIO". The board shows signs of light use.
