Description
Printed booklet produced by Berwick City Council to introduce the newly determined sister city of Springfield Ohio to the Berwick populace. The booklet is printed on thick embossed paper with green ink and stapled twice to bind together. The cover depicts the location of the two cities on a world map outline, as well as the council logos. The sister city relationship was proclaimed on 24th September 1985 and is reproduced in full on the back of the booklet. Within the booklet is contained more details about Springfield, Ohio including information on its emblem, history, industry, facts and university. The Mayor of Berwick also makes a statement explaining the sister city relationship and what Berwick had hoped to foster through that connection. Valuable information describing both the City of Berwick Coat of Arms and City of Springfield are contained and not easily found elsewhere.
