Description
Framed copy of a City of Casey based newspaper cartoon. The cartoon is by renowned Australian cartoonist Ronald Tandberg. Tandberg's work featured primarily in The Age, where he was employed from 1972 until his death in 2018. Tandberg received eleven Walkley Awards in his career, the highest number to a single recipient.

The cartoon is dated June 2013 and contains Tandberg's signature, but is a print copy. The cartoon depicts a woman facing an adoring crowd, stood in front of the Casey Council. Two ducks scurry past annoyed and the sentiments unfolding and the words 'to be continued..' appear underneath. The woman explains "Our new Civic Precinct will be built where the duck pond now exists. It will have something for everyone: Artists, performers, readers, meetings etc, etc..." The ducks reply, "What about us??? quack!!".

The cartoon is contained in white and purple mating and a brushed gold frame.
