Description
Prussian blue mayoral robe. Robe has brown mink fur trim on the edges of the capulet and extended lapel down the front. Blue satin lines the sleeves of the capulet and aquamarine grosgrain ribbons are attracted to the shoulders with one fixed point. Double snap Prussian blue woollen blend closures are on the top of the mink collar to help affix mayoral chains. Metal woven hook and eye's line the fur lapel. Wool is gathered and ruched across the back.

This robe has been worn by former mayors at official functions.

Raymond W. Bredin & Son were bespoke Melbourne robe makers, now operating under the Blashki brand.
